TAP Grant program
Here’s a cool opportunity: The TAP Grant Program, sponsored by the Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) knowledge community of the American Institute of Architects, aims to fund proposals up to $10,000 that leverage emergent AEC technology to solve challenges faced by architects and contribute to firm prosperity. The grant provides access to industry-leading mentors to help turn an innovative idea into a design tool. The deadline for the application is October 12, and the recipients will be notified in November.
TAP:
It is common to find that emerging design professionals, small firm practitioners, and others have amazing ideas on how technology can deliver better results for the built environment—but struggle to find the funding, mentoring, or trusted partners to carry out these disruptive ideas. To help foster this type of creativity and innovation within the architecture industry, this grant aims to help cover some of the development fees, and provide access to industry-leading mentors to help turn an innovative idea into a design tool.
